Extending Plone with a relational database and ISIS authentication (PowerPoint - 86KB)
- This presentation will show how a custom dynamic application was developed for BruinCast (http://bruincast.ucla.edu) by the Office of Instructional Development, which extended Plone’s existing CMS to use an external relational database (MySQL) and ISIS authentication. ISIS authentication was migrated into Plone to restrict selected course webcast pages to currently enrolled students.
